IP Management – Smarter Display & Workflow on Dashboard

We’re introducing major improvements to IP management, making it easier to understand the status of your IPs and what actions are possible.

What’s new?

  • Richer IP details

Each IP now comes with three new fields for a better understanding of its status :

➤ IP Type – Defines the nature of the IP and whether it can be protected by our scans :

    • Not eligible : CDN, WAF, SaaS, Private – flagged with warnings, no scans launched.

    • Eligible : Static, Cloud, Other Dynamic – scans, vulnerabilities, and retests are available.

    • Unknown : Not yet determined (awaiting for first scan).

➤ IP State – Describes the lifecycle of the IP :

    • Active : The IP currently hosts one of your domains (all actions allowed).

    • Archived : The IP no longer hosts your domain (kept for reporting, no scans or new vulnerabilities).

    • Unknown : The IP is created but not yet under protection (limited info only).

➤ IP Provider – Displays the provider name for Cloud, CDN, WAF and Saas IPs.

🔎 You can now also filter assets by IP type and state for faster searches.

  • Clearer creation flow

When creating an IP manually, you’ll now see a warning that remind you which IP are eligible for scans.

  • Historic view

Domains now keep track of all related IPs with first and last resolution dates, so you can understand how assets evolved over time.

A similar view is also available to track the history of domains related to a given IP.

Archived IPs remain accessible for reporting but cannot trigger new scans or vulnerabilities.

With these improvements, IP management is more transparent : you always know the type, state, and possible actions for each of your IPs.

Feature Improvements

  • Asset - Security check : The scan time zone is now displayed.

  • CVEs : In the Latest Exploitable CVEs block, a quick overview of each CVE’s details is now available on hover.

  • Assets / CVEs : The technology filter now supports search by both product name and version number.

Design Improvements

  • Organization - settings : The display of table elements has been improved for Risk Insights policies, Autotag policies, and CybelAngel.

  • Risk insights : The “By severity” chart was hidden in the subtopic pages.

  • Charts : The design of empty states has been improved.

Bug Fixes

  • Asset groups : The selection and display of dynamic tag filters in dynamic asset groups has been fixed.

  • Vulnerabilities : The Acknowledged status for vulnerabilities is now treated as a closed status.

  • Asset - EASM - IP : Deleted IPs no longer appear in EASM tables.

  • Suborganizations : The limit on the number of suborganizations has been fixed.
