Risk Insights - Cloud storage

Released on November 13th

Updated over a month ago

As part of our ongoing effort to enhance Risk Insights, we’re introducing a new sub-topic under Exposed Services: Cloud Storage.

This feature continuously monitors your cloud storage configurations (such as AWS S3 buckets in this first iteration) to detect any public or risky permissions that could expose sensitive data.

If a storage bucket is found with Read, Edit, or Access Control (ACL) permissions open to the public, a Risk Insight will be raised to alert you.

Once the permissions are properly restricted, the Risk Insight will automatically close.

If the permissions are intentionally required, you can simply acknowledge the risk directly in the platform.

This section is still being expanded : only a limited number of configurations are monitored for now, and additional coverage will be progressively added over time.
