Asset groups allow you to freely group your assets by technologies, criticalities, owners or business. The same asset can be added to multiple Asset Groups.
To create an asset group, go to the Asset menu > Groups sub-menu, then click on the New Asset Group button on the top right corner of the page.
In the configuration window that opens, fill in the information of your asset group (organization, title, criticality, etc.) and click on Create.
Dynamic Asset Groups
Also, you can create dynamic rules so that certain assets can automatically be assigned to a specific group.
Several criteria are available:
All pentested assets
All assets having specific type(s): IP, Domain, Custom
All assets having a value containing, starting or ending by a substring
All assets having specific tag(s)
All assets with specific open port(s)
To create these rules, follow the same steps as a regular asset group but once on the configuration window, check the Dynamic switch button.
A new field will appear so you can choose the criteria you want to apply for your dynamic rule. Click on Filters and select the relevant one.
Activate the filter by clicking on the button then Add filter and finally, Create.
Based on the rule you created, all new assets that fit the criteria will be added to the dynamic group.
